Project 03- Painting a Character Design

Assignment Guidelines- Be able to take a character from your sketchbook, scan it, adjust the line color to match the paint, apply local color, shadows, textures, gradients, high lights.

-Please choose from one of the images below to paint.-


Steps in Class and grading process..
1. Local Color to a Color Change
2. Blending transitions
3.Texture
4.Direction of Light- (Creating change of form and shadows)
5. Line Adjustment- ( We changed the color of the line and erased parts of the line enhance the painting.)
6. Gray Scale Value Overlay- a layer in black, place layer on Hue to see if your value transitions are working correctly. Values should be changing according to form of object.)
